What is a Domain Name Server (DNS)?
A Domain Name Server (DNS) is part of the distributed Internet directory service. A DNS is used mainly to translate between domain names and IP addresses, and to control Internet email delivery. Most Internet services rely on a DNS to work, and if the DNS fails, web sites cannot be located and email delivery stalls.
What is a Data Source Name (DSN)?
A Data Source Name (DSN) is used under the Windows NT platform for accessing databases in various formats (i.e. Microsoft Access) in ASP (Active Server Pages) through a common interface.
Can you help to improve our search engine rankings?
There's a pervasive myth among web site managers that submitting your web site to hundreds of search engines will result in thousands of new visitors, which simply isn't true. Submitting alone is not enough. When someone queries a search engine for a keyword related to your site's products or services, does your page appear in the top 10 matches, or does your competition's page? How do I pay for web hosting?
You can pay with credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AmEx), check or Money Order.
When paying with credit card, you can select any Billing Cycle from one month to one year.
Payments made by check or Money Order are only accepted for a one-year term.
Regardless of the type of payment, if you prepay for a one-year term you will receive the 13th month free.
You can also pay with PayPal or Western Union. These also assume prepayment for a one-year term.
Do you offer dial up access?
No. We are strictly dedicated to the hosting industry, which affords our clients the best possible service and speed.
Do you guarantee uptime?
Yes, we guarantee 99.9% uptime.
What about your connection?
Most hosting companies rent one or two high-speed lines. If these lines are overloaded or unstable, your web site slows down or cannot be reached at all.
We have 6 (!) high-speed lines from different providers that exclude the possibility of your site being down or unstable. If one line is not operational, your web site momentarily switches to another line.
Thus, your site has 6x reliability protection and downtime practically does not exist.
The connection speed provided for each and every one of our lines is at least OC-3. Sites do not interfere with each other, even in peak load periods.
What is your policy on SPAM and adult-oriented sites?
If you are found to be participating in either of these activities on our servers, your account will be terminated.
